Skincare Haul: Etude House | Ally

Hey, it’s me Ally and I’m back with another post. Today I’m going to be writing another haul post. My previous haul was from Nature Republic…and today’s haul is going to be products all from Etude House!!! I love how their concept and packaging is all so pink and cute! It makes me wanna buy more just cause it looks amazingly nice and I can’t help it. If you’re a girly girl, you’ll know how hard it is to fight the urge of not getting anything pink. To be honest, I wouldn’t say I’m super girly because I would choose a crop top, jeans and a pair of Converse any day!

This melts away lumps of sebum

such as the forehead, nose and chin. 

It clears out sebum lumps on the 

surface of the skin for powdery, 

clean and smooth skin. 

First up, I went and got myself the Etude House Zero Sebum White Sebum Clear. Honestly, I grabbed this product absent mindedly without knowing what it actually does. And because I can’t read a word of Korean, I had to kinda find my way with just the pictures and the very brief explanation on the packaging. So, basically what you’re supposed to do is spread it on the “affected” area and leave it on for a few minutes then wipe it off with a tissue.

Bare with me with this next product…the name is ridiculously long. And it is the Etude House Every Month Cleansing Foam (Green Tea). I got the number 5 because I couldn’t find 4, which is my favorite number so I got the number closest to it. (I know I’m not normal for thinking that way) Can I just say how darn cute the design at the front is? It feels very spring… I’m guessing they have different types for different months. It smells really fresh and subtle. If you’re not into fragrances, then this would be great. The funny thing is, I asked the salesperson how long can this facial cleanser last me and she told me 3 months. Then I thought to myself, doesn’t it defeat the purpose of having different cleansers for each month of the year if one can last me 3 months. J

Now this is by far, the weirdest and cutest thing I’ve ever gotten and it is the Etude House Don’t Worry Hand Cream. I picked up the You Did It (Floral Musky Fragrance) I saw other types with different sayings on them but I personally thought this little guy was the cutest and got him instead. If you were wondering, yes~ the little guy has shoes on… I definitely wasn’t looking for hand creams but I couldn’t resist not getting him. Products like this just make it hard for me to say no.

 

At that time, I just started to get into skincare and was looking for a light moisturizer. And I found the Etude House Pure Water Baobab Water 52% Moisturizer. It comes in a pretty decent sized bottle. I have no idea what Baobab Water is suppose to be but I particularly enjoy how light this feels on my skin.

* This is a highly moisturizing emulsion that daily absorbs Baobab’s pure moisture into skin for a clear and moist complexion.

- This is a highly moisturizing emulsion containing sufficiently moist Baobab Water and skin purifying Moringa seed extract.

- Like a burst of water drop, its light watery texture absorbs smoothly into skin with abundant moisture. *

Last but definitely not least, my can’t-live-without product! It is the Etude House AC Clinic Intense Pink Powder Spot. I seriously can’t live without this product in my life. It is amazing on soooooo many levels I can’t even describe how much I love it! I truly believe this is the best skincare product ever created…(in my opinion) Basically, it's kinda like a problem solver for all your acne problems.

If you have a pimple, just dab a little of the product on your pimple and by the next day, you’ll see that the pimple has decreased in size or sometimes…it’s just GONE!!! Like magic~ It literally saves me when I have a pimple that pops up and I have a very important day the next day. I’ll go as far as calling this product a lifesaver! Personally, this product does wonders for my skin but I have to say that it may not work for everyone.



I feel like I should add a halo over it ^_-

On the downside, I tried it on my sister but according to her, her pimple became bigger the next day. I have no idea why it didn’t work for her but I’ve heard tons of great reviews on this product and that was the main reason why I went out and got this product. It can get a little pricy but I have no regrets. If you do decide to try it out, don’t blame me if it doesn’t work for you. Just a heads up, it smells very chemical-ish so I don’t recommend applying this product too close to your nose or eyes. I guess it’s because of the Salicylic Acid. I’m going to be doing a more detailed review on this product in the future so stay tuned if you’d like to know more~ J P.S It comes with cotton buds as well. I thought you should know…
