Just a Little Something | Ally

Hey guys! It has honestly been so long and by long I mean like a month or so since I posted my New Year…New Me post. And first off, I’d just like to apologize for our lack of posts this year but it’s really something that is inevitable with all our busy schedules clashing. To be completely honest, we haven’t quite been able to figure out everything but the ‘little’ hiatus did give us some time to think things through. We’ve already explained it in our 'Back-lentines' post so if you missed that post and have been following our blog for new updates but have continuously been let down for the past month then the word ‘sorry’ isn’t gonna be enough. But good news! We’re finally back.

Just to inform you readers out there in the world who are reading my exact words right now…there’s gonna be a few changes in the scheduling of the weekly posts. How we had it going before the hiatus was 3 posts by each of us weekly with the occasional random K-Pop Reactions post but we’ve thought things through and we’ve decided to change it up a little. For now, each week, one person will be posting a solo post. Followed by the next week with another one of our solo posts. And so on… Sadly, we really can’t seem to balance both school and the blog so we had to make a decision to reduce the amount of posts.

Ok…since I’ve already updated you on the changes of the schedule, it’s time for the real post to start! I thought about doing a DIY but then again I haven’t been able to sit down and write a heart-to-heart post in a long while now so I pushed back my plans for a DIY. Today, I’m just gonna give you a little update on how I’ve been since posting my ‘New Year…New Me’ post. In that post, I talked about being happy. I think I’ve fairly achieved that goal. There’s definitely gonna be those days when I just feel so exhausted and annoyed and I just can’t help it. But I have been trying to be more open with my friends, have a little more fun, loosen up, make new friends…all things that I wasn’t really comfortable with doing. I’m still not very comfortable but I’m adjusting so that’s a good thing.

As for my studies…I’d like to think that I’ve been putting more effort in. (I think my parents would disagree…but oh well) Is it just me or do you know the feeling of studying the whole day and when it’s finally time for you to rest, you go on your laptop or your phone when your parents barge in and judge you for not studying? It’s like the worst timing ever! Anyways, all I can say is that my grades will be determine how I’ve been keeping to my New Year’s resolution.

Oh and if you were wondering, I haven’t stopped getting obsessed with Korean dramas. K-Drama FOR LIFE! Although I will admit that I haven’t gotten the time to catch up with the latest dramas like Legend of the Blue Sea or Goblin. It has been all the rage lately but I just don’t have the time to binge-watch them just yet. Sarah will back me up on this but I’ve been eagerly waiting for Joy’s (Red Velvet) new drama that will be airing in March!!!!! My excitement cannot be expressed by words because it’s a well known fact that I stan Red Velvet!!! The drama is called ‘The Liar and His Lover’ starring Joy and also Lee Hyun Woo. Just a side note…but he’s pretty good looking to me! *wink* *wink*

Well, that’s about it. I haven’t been up to much. Just school… I’ll be sure to update you guys from time to time. Just a sneak peek but I’ve got a few DIY’s planned for the blog so stay tuned for those. Make sure to check back in next week for Beth’s solo post. BYE!!!

See you in a few weeks,
Ally
