DIY Paper Design | Sarah

Image
Heylo! I'm a little late this week 😅 Sorry about that!  Anyways, this week I am back with a DIY (one of the reasons why this post was late) I saw this on Pinterest and I just HAD to try it because it looked so pretty! I don't really know what to call this DIY but it's kind of like making paper patterns? Today I'll be doing the bubble pattern! I've been planning to do this DIY for a realllly long time but I never brought myself to do it. I also have another pattern that I want to try out but I didn't have the materials and the time to do it so I'll do it one day and put it up later on (you can look forward to it 😉)  So shall we start? This DIY is really easy and it took me faster than I expected. Plus, all of the items needed are household items so you probably have all the stuff on hand.   I would suggest using some thicker paper for this because the bubbles will make your paper soft. Also, if you don't have food colouring, you co...

DIY Minimalistic Calendar | Ally

I'd just like to start off the post by saying that yes...I realize that this post was due a few days ago but I just wanted to apologise because I didn't have the time to actually prepare for the DIY and only recently (like literally today) had the time to actually do the DIY. So...I'm so sorry for the delay of the post but nevertheless I hope you enjoy~ Just like it’s said in the title, what I’ve got installed for you this week is a really simple DIY that just looks FREAKIN cute as a room décor. With the New Year being really busy for me, what I needed was a planner/calendar for me to plan things all out. And yea…a planner was helpful but I’m just not really into all the hassle of having to open up my planner and finding the pages. So, to solve all my problems I thought why not make a calendar that I could visually see all my plans for the day or week or even month. To make things even better, it’s reusable and totally customizable! There are only a handful of ...

DIY Mini Dreamcatcher | Sarah

Heylo guys! Omg that's the last time I'm saying 'Heylo' this year. Anyways this post marks the last individual post from all of us in the year 2016! Time passed by SO fast. I feel like it was just yesterday that it was January. Now there's only 1 week(+) left of 2016. Guys I'm not ready for 2017!!!! Help!! Hahahaha anyways, for todays post I'm going to do a DIY! Specifically, a DIY Mini Dreamcatcher.  Now here's some info about Dreamcatchers. The Native Americans created them and you're supposed to hang them above where you sleep. They are believed to catch good dreams and the dream will flow from the net down to the feathers and 'drop' on you so that you'll have good dreams while the bad dreams get caught in the net and don't fall on you 😂. Let's get STARTED! Things you need for this DIY. I realized that you don't need much to do this. And most of the stuff are really cheap. . . . Firstly, this is the ea...

DIY: Light Bulb Décor | Ally

Hey hey guys!!! (and girls) For some reason, as I’m typing this post…there’s this small bug flying around in my room and its just annoying me right now. But back to the actual point of this post, you could probably already tell from the title so no need for me to say it again. I’m finally back again   *hint hint* with a new DIY post. I know…I know…I haven’t been doing much DIYs lately and I feel kinda bad about it so today, I’ve decided to jump in the “really cute décor for your room wagon” and do/make a DIY for my room.   Let’s get real and admit that everyone has dreamt of having a Pinterest-worthy room or a Tumblr-worthy room at least once in their lifetime. Today, we’re gonna be making a décor piece that you can totally personalize to fit your style~ “I’m really into small, delicate décor pieces because I find that although they may be small in size but it just makes a huge statement… Also, I’ve recently got into botany and that’s kinda my thing right now so j...

DIY: Alphabet Photo Collage | Bethany

Image
Hello internet world! I'm Bethany and I can NEVER do a DIY without screwing something up. So writing this post + doing the DIY itself is a HUGE 'accomplishment' for the virtual list of accomplishments in my life. Just sayin'. And also, heads up: if I can do this....YOU CAN TOO.   This DIY makes an awesome room décor whether it'd be on your nightstand or just hanging on the wall and better yet, an awesome Birthday-Gift add-on (A.K.A life-savers for broke people like me...in other words: STUDENTS WHO DO NOT HAVE A JOB)!   What exactly do you need? Yeah...I was doing this as a Birthday Gift..... The first step if you have long hair is to tie it up! So it doesn't get in the way. So to start off this DIY, you'll have to sketch out any alphabet your heart desires on the mounting board whether it'd be an 'A' or a 'B' or an 'S'...there are 26 alphabets! Take your pick :)!   As you can tell (or maybe not), I sket...

DIY Heart to Heart Décor | Ally

Hey, it’s me Ally. I’m one-third that makes up this blog and I’ve got nothing to do so I thought why not write a post or at least make something out of my life…..so writing a post it is! I hope you’ve read my previous DIYs. Today’s DIY is kinda in relation with my previous DIY that is the World Map Décor . Well…it has something to do with travelling as well so I thought they matched well. *Judging myself*   -        a frame -        a picture/image  (basically anything that reminds you of where you’ve been or where you wanna be) -        scissors -        glue/mod podge That’s basically all you need. Simple right? I always try to make my DIYs as easy as possible just cause *Let’s be honest, not everyone is talented. All arrows are pointing right at me with blinking lights >> L <<* It may seem like a lot of stuff but it really ...
